"Nights in Ventnor Go Green" will be a parade of floating crafts powered by natural forces - NO FOSSIL FUELS! Teams and individuals will show off their stuff as they paddle, push or peddle through the canals of Ventnor City. This event will be fun for those on the water as well as for those on the shore. Get your spectator seats ready.
On Saturday, August 23 the procession will leave the Dorest Avenue boat ramp at 5:00 pm and will travel past Harvard Avenue to the Viking Rowing Club. Registration begins at 4:00 pm. Paddlers can register at Ski Beach beginning at 4:00 PM on the day of the parade. A $5.00 donation will go towards City Recreation projects. Entrants will be judged for a variety of categories and prizes will be given. Afterwards the party begins, cookout and refreshments at the rowing club. Shuttle service will be provided.
